Seoul Robotics' ATS (Advanced Technology Solutions) leverages LiDAR, cameras, and machine learning to detect vehicles, trains, and pedestrians, analyze traffic events, and provide both real-time and historical data.

SR Perception

SR Perception is a 3D LiDAR perception platform that processes LiDAR data to deliver 3D computer vision and object recognition. The system detects, classifies, and tracks objects in real time, outputting object information at a frequency of 10 Hz.

Objects can be detected with an accuracy of ±4 cm.

Classification and Tracking
Equipped with machine learning-based classifiers and customizable settings, the system continuously tracks objects within the LiDAR's field of view—even maintaining tracking during temporary occlusions.

Provides detailed information including position (x, y, z coordinates), bounding box dimensions, velocity, yaw orientation, movement history, and predicted trajectories.

SR Analytics

SR Analytics is a solution that transforms abstract object data collected through SR Perception into structured statistical insights, seamlessly integrating them into your system. This significantly reduces development and integration time.

Event Detection and Statistics
SR Analytics can detect and configure a wide range of events—including stopped vehicles, wrong-way driving, speeding, traffic congestion, illegal U-turns, and pedestrian waiting. It also gathers site-level statistics such as object counts and average speeds.

Data Output
Event notifications are delivered via WebSocket and API, with fully customizable output formats tailored to user requirements.

Smart Intersection Systems

The Smart Intersection System monitors the entire area of interest using LiDAR sensors installed at the intersection. LiDAR data is processed locally by an edge device within the cabinet, enabling precise detection of traffic patterns and analysis of road user behavior. The system delivers advanced capabilities such as digital twin visualization, actionable insights, and real-time event detection.

The system operates reliably under various weather conditions and inherently protects privacy by collecting no personally identifiable information. Detectable traffic events include stopped vehicles, wrong-way driving, illegal U-turns, speeding, pedestrian crossings, near-collisions, and queuing.

Connected Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) Testing

Designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles (AVs), the system detects and tracks both static and dynamic objects—such as vehicles and pedestrians—in real time, providing a comprehensive test environment powered by a 3D perception platform.

ITS – 3D Digital Twin for Intersections & VRU (Vulnerable Road User) Applications

Utilizing 3D digital twin technology, the system tracks vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians while detecting critical events such as wrong-way driving, illegal U-turns, and near-collisions to enhance road safety. The solution is actively deployed in South Korea and Finland.

ITS – Traffic Signal Control

Optimizes traffic flow by adjusting signal timings in real time based on actual traffic conditions. The system also detects waiting pedestrians and cyclists at crosswalks to dynamically adjust signal phases for improved safety and efficiency. Currently in use in Utah, USA.

ITS – Roundabout Monitoring

Tracks vehicle movement within intersections and roundabouts, monitors overall traffic flow, and detects violations such as illegal parking or wrong-way driving.

Rail – Crossing and Obstacle Detection

To prevent collisions at railway crossings, the system detects vehicles and pedestrians on the tracks—even objects smaller than 1m²—ensuring the tracks are clear and safe for train passage.

Smart Spaces – Crowd Management & Congestion Detection

Monitors crowd movement in locations such as train stations, terminals, airports, and stadiums—enabling effective queue management and generating foot traffic heatmaps to enhance operational efficiency. Tracks movement patterns while maintaining complete respect for individual privacy.
